So yeah, I’ve gone for the simple option and threw together a single page containing a bit of info about myself. I started it from scratch this morning over breakfast. For those who saw the ‘in build’ version (ie Rosie and Craig), you’ll think it looks exactly the same, and you’re right the design is, but I did rewrite the code this morning.
So why go to all that trouble? Well, I have learned a lot in the few years I’ve been working in the web industry and a few months ago I came across a site which asks working professionals to contribute and spread the knowledge of standards based web development. I am in no way an expert but I do know enough to be contributing articles to this site. Which brings me on to the next point of this whole ’single page info site’ jobbie.
I have written an article, which will probably be of no interest to any of you (except maybe Tristan and Ste) which I plan so submit this week and it looks bad for someone spouting how to do stuff to not have any form of a site running. Actually until this morning it still had the Christmas message I sent out so it would have looked even worse.
So yeah, one quick burst of inspiration while having a bath turned into a toast fueled workathon to get it ready to live this morning. And my main goal of the day is achieved, I have a page I can be proud to show off as a proper “in build” page rather than the usual ‘under construction’ shit people are used to seeing.

PS – you have a flickr account? A lot of my illustrator friends have been playing there.
I’ve got a flickr account somewhere but I’ve not uploaded anything on to it for while lol When I get a chance to sit down and play with this thing I’ll figure out how to have a flickr nav down the side of the blog.
